To be honest, I was expecting eleven’s regeneration to be much more dramatic, and he would be sobbing hysterically, and screaming, repeating his last words over and over. But it was worse. He had a speech where he looked at the camera, he looked at his fans and he silently cried to his last words, all while hallucinating that Amelia was there with him, completing the whole “madman” thing. Eleven’s regeneration was quick, and sudden, and it left the fandom in pieces. Almost the whole thing was beautiful. 

The thing I hated about his regeneration was that Clara was left to the side, and not ever really given credit for all the things she did for the Doctor. After all the buildup on who Clara is, and all the development of their relationship, the special was somewhat of a letdown. Clara obviously loves the Doctor, and she was just thrown aside. 

I’ll continue this later, I need some sleep, and time to cope.
